Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Review
•Xperia X1 is Sony
Ericsson's debut gadget in the Smartphone area. The design is of the
type slider, where the user will slide the screen to the side and
underneath is a QWERTY keyboard hidden. The famous QWERTY
keyboard revolutionized the data input process in the mobile world by
being the first keyboard to have the same keyboard layout as the
standard US layout on a regular PC.
Screen
Xperia has a 3 Inch Screen of type TFT with 65k Colour Touch Screen
and a resolution of 800 x 480 Pixels. This beautiful Smartphone has a
front almost totally dominated by the big screen. The screen is a
TouchScreen. Easy access to all
the different applications and functionality with help of the panel interface, that easily gives
access to the camera, multimedia, web, messaging and all the
other applications
Look and Feel
As I mentioned earlier, this is a beatiful device that is in direct
competition with the iPhone
and that says alot about the quality of the X1. It has a very compact
and solid look and feel.
Keyboard
A QWERTY keyboard is hidden under the big screen. Just slide the
screen to the side and there you suddenly have a top class keyboard
that has the same layout as your standard PC.
Camera
The Xperia has a camera that is an integrated 3.2 megapixel digital
camera. Recording video is also something this camera supports. It has
auto focus to make the life easier of the user .
Summary
This is a fierce competitor to the Apple iPhone, that should
say enough to make anyone interested in this gadget. It's very slick
and the look and feel is solid, compact and sleek. There is much to
like with this phone and it is very recommended.
